Ron Myers was appointed in May 2001 to fill a vacancy
in the Peoria Justice Precinct and was elected to
a four-year term in 2002, and again in 2006. Ron retired in 2000 from
the FBI where he was a Special Agent for almost 31
years; most of where he worked was in Arizona. Ron
received numerous awards and commendations during
his career with the FBI and worked on several high-profile
cases in Arizona and elsewhere throughout the United
States. When he retired, he was the Principal Firearms
Instructor for the FBI in Arizona.
Ron is currently an AZ POST certified Peace Officer and a certified firearms instructor. Ron has served as a volunteer Small Claims Hearing Officer in Maricopa County Justice Courts and is currently serving as a Chairman for the City of Glendale Personnel Board where he hears appeals from disciplined city employees.
Ron’s precinct covers most of Peoria; all of Glendale north of Bell Road; all of Sun City; plus large unincorporated area.
Ron currently lives in Glendale, and has been married
to his wife Judy for over 38 years. He also has three
grown children. On Ron’s free time he likes
to target shoot and fish.
