Rick Tutor joined the United States Army in 1992. His
last duty station was in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. This was
also where he was Honorably Discharged in 1975, and
then headed home to Sierra Vista, AZ. Mr. Tutor attended
Cochise College and worked a Civil Service Position
on Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
In 1980 he was hired by the Cochise County Sheriff’s
Department. At this time he worked as a Uniform Deputy
for 4 years. In 1984 he was hired for the S.V.P.D,
where he worked as a Uniform Officer and Detective.
Then in May of 2000 he retired from the S.V.P.D and
was hired as a Deputy Constable for Justice Precinct
5. Then in 2003 Rick Tutor was elected as Constable
of Justice Precinct 5.
