Larry was Constable in 2003-2004 and looks forward to servicing his communities again. In June 2004 he retired after 30 years of working in the public schools of Northern Arizona. Larry serves the Kayenta Justice Court, Precinct Four that includes the communities of Kayenta, Shonto, Forrest Lake, Black Mesa, Hard Rock, Pinon, Whippoorwill, Low Mountain, and Blue Gap. Before retiring from the public school system, he served as Superintendent of Pinon Unified School District # 4, Principal of Kayenta Middle School, and Monument Valley High School; he was also Principal of Page High School, an instructor for University of Phoenix, and as a regional coordinator for the University of Phoenix.
Larry was born in Kentucky attending Morehead State University, University of Dayton, Northern Arizona University, University of phoenix, and graduate work from University of Nevada/Las Vegas. He began his Arizona educational career in Ganado in 1978 as a counselor and principal in the school district and other districts in Northern Arizona.
Larry has served as President of the Arizona Indian Schools Associations, the Navajo Education Technology Consortium, and the Reservation of northern Arizona Insurance Trust.
Larry Wallen has been married to Lillian Parrish Wallen since 1984. There soon, Andrew is a junior at Northern University. Larry has been active in local community issues for many years and is proud to serves as Constable and a member of the Arizona Constables State Association.
