Cheryle H. Wood started as Constable
Clerk with the Gila County Constables Office in Payson
Regional Precinct in December, 2005 and became a
Deputy Constable in February 2006.
Cheryle was born in Rochestar,
New York, she and her family have been residents
of Arizona since 1987. In New York she held Executive
Secretary and Administrative Secretary positions
at Sykes Datatronics, Inc., Nalge Company, Harvey
Research and Ecologics Management.
As a resident of Scottsdale,
Cheryle was employed as a legal secretary
until 2002. Her legal background includes
experience in law practice arrears of labor & employment,
condemnation, eminent domain, environmental,
insurance, real estate, corporate, First
Amendment, government contracts, paralegals
at Steptoe & Johnson, Gallagher & Kennedy,
Blunt & Associates, O’Connor Cavanagh
and Motorola Law Department.
In June 2002, she had
her husband Don moves to Pine, Arizona. She
took a position as Assistant Program Coordinator
at Gila Community College in Payson and since
July 2005, has worked for Gila County. Cheryle
has been married to her husband Don for 20
years. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
